AlignmentHORSE Live is the weekly learning environment for AlignmentHORSE students and enthusiasts who want to deepen their understanding through real observation, shared experience, and live conversation.
In this respectful and supportive space, we explore all matters relating to horses and alignment — not as problems to fix, but as conversations to develop.
Traditional training tells horses what to do – but never shows them how their own body works. The problem never was disobedience. Your horse doesn’t know another way to move. Nobody taught him.
AlignmentHORSE Live is where that changes.
These live weekly sessions inform, coach, and guide participants towards emotional and physical alignment, stability, balance, and harmony. As the conversations unfold, pathways become clearer and understanding develops naturally over time.
What AlignmentHORSE Live Is Designed to Give
AlignmentHORSE Live supports participants by offering:
•Confidence and clarity as understanding deepens
•Transformed understanding of equine locomotion
•Ongoing support in developing alignment with horses
•Enhanced equestrian skills and equine athletic progress
•Conversation-by-conversation learning toward advanced understanding and practice
•A shared space where learning emerges through doing, noticing, and reflecting
We learn by observing.
We learn by sharing.
We learn together.
What Happens in AlignmentHORSE Live
Every Monday evening, Liz VanRoss – the creator of AlignmentHORSE – goes live to teach the approach that is transforming horses across the world. She presents radical and clear science-based explanations of equine locomotion and answers your questions directly. You watch real horses making real breakthroughs. You bring your own horse’s challenges. You leave with something you can use the next morning.
Sessions include:
•Observation and discussion of real horse videos
•Analysis of everyday interactions, in-hand and ridden
•Live responses to questions from participants
Learning comes not only from Liz VanRoss, but from witnessing the experiences and observations of others in the group.
This is the heart of AlignmentHORSE Live.
A supportive, respectful space for shared learning with horses and humans.

Participation grows naturally over time — there is no pressure.
AlignmentHORSE understanding develops one conversation at a time.
AlignmentHORSE is learned through doing, noticing, and reflecting.
It is not a technique to apply, but a conversation to develop.
Monday Meetings support:
- Awareness of alignment and misalignment
- Advanced visual skills
- Deeper listening to horses
- Transformation of habits, assumptions, and relationships
Understanding unfolds over time — patience is part of the practice - and enjoying every step & conversation.
Students may apply to present videos for group learning
Videos should:
- Show real, everyday interactions (whether these are in-hand or mounted);
- Ideally be minimally edited but a maximum of 5 minutes;
- Reflect honest moments of curiosity, challenge, or progress
The purpose is shared learning, not critique or evaluation. All feedback is observational, supportive, and alignment-focused
Submit your video via the agreed platform or contact method (until the booking page is completed, email / call Katherine to schedule).
Email to Katherine a request to share videos including short context about your horse.
When submitting the videos please provide a summary of the horse and situation. What are you curious about or noticing?
Every submitted video will help you and your horse personally make progress conversation by conversation.
Every video shared benefits the whole community, conversation by conversation.
Questions are welcome and encouraged Ask from curiosity, not expectation of a “right answer” Frame questions around what you are noticing, feeling, or experiencing Use the chat or raise your hand, depending on meeting flow Trust that sometimes listening to others answers your own question
Learning is conversation-by-conversation, not lesson-based We learn by: Watching student videos Listening to Liz VanRoss’s observations and reflections Hearing different perspectives within the group Insight often comes through witnessing others’ experiences Repetition and presence deepen understanding over time
Respect, kindness, and openness No comparison, competition, or judgment Everyone is learning — including experienced participants Horses are our teachers; we learn together
