Regular Monday Meetings for AlignmentHORSE students and enthusiasts. In this supportive environment we discuss with our like-minded community all matters relating to our horses and to alignment. Monday Meetings help inform, coach and guide everyone towards common goals, specifically towards emotional and physical alignment, stability, balance and harmony.
As we progress, the goals and pathways emerge and will be clearly defined to achieve the most successful outcomes.
Meetings are designed to give:
- support and confidence to succeed.
- conversation-by-conversation learning and development towards advanced understanding and practice of AlignmentHORSE.
We learn by doing and sharing.
During Monday Meetings, Elizabeth VanRoss, the founder of AlignmentHORSE, will present radical and science-based explanations of equine locomotion and will review and analyse student videos. We all learn from Liz and from each other.
This is our forum for learning about AlignmentHORSE. We learn how to hold AlignmentHORSE conversations with our horses; transforming their lives and ours.
A supportive, respectful space for shared learning with horses and humans.
Focus on alignment, awareness, and transformation — not “fixing” or judging.
Learning through observation, conversation, and lived experience.
Growth emerges naturally through participation over time.
Join with an open mind and a willingness to listen and engage.
Interact with chat messages throughout the call.
Ask Liz VanRoss your questions via chat.
Participate actively by showing your own videos and talking to Liz VanRoss directly during the meeting.
Respect confidentiality and personal sharing within the group - and all participants please note that the calls will be available for review even by those not attending the call live.
Please join the meeting whenever you can.
In the chat, share your name and location.
There is no need for expertise.
You may share challenges, curiosity, or intentions.
Participation grows naturally over time — there is no pressure.
AlignmentHORSE understanding develops one conversation at a time.
AlignmentHORSE is learned through doing, noticing, and reflecting.
It is not a technique to apply, but a conversation to develop.
Monday Meetings support:
- Awareness of alignment and misalignment
- Advanced visual skills
- Deeper listening to horses
- Transformation of habits, assumptions, and relationships
Understanding unfolds over time — patience is part of the practice - and enjoying every step & conversation.
Students may apply to present videos for group learning
Videos should:
- Show real, everyday interactions (whether these are in-hand or mounted);
- Ideally be minimally edited but a maximum of 5 minutes;
- Reflect honest moments of curiosity, challenge, or progress
The purpose is shared learning, not critique or evaluation. All feedback is observational, supportive, and alignment-focused
Submit your video via the agreed platform or contact method (until the booking page is completed, email / call Katherine to schedule).
Email to Katherine a request to share videos including short context about your horse.
When submitting the videos please provide a summary of the horse and situation. What are you curious about or noticing?
Every submitted video will help you and your horse personally make progress conversation by conversation.
Every video shared benefits the whole community, conversation by conversation.
Questions are welcome and encouraged Ask from curiosity, not expectation of a “right answer” Frame questions around what you are noticing, feeling, or experiencing Use the chat or raise your hand, depending on meeting flow Trust that sometimes listening to others answers your own question
Learning is conversation-by-conversation, not lesson-based We learn by: Watching student videos Listening to Liz VanRoss’s observations and reflections Hearing different perspectives within the group Insight often comes through witnessing others’ experiences Repetition and presence deepen understanding over time
Respect, kindness, and openness No comparison, competition, or judgment Everyone is learning — including experienced participants Horses are our teachers; we learn together
